On Thursday our 5th day, we went back to Disneyland for our early entry day. You can get in 1 hour early, but we only made it about 1/2 hour. We went over to Fantasyland and got right on Dumbo. Dallon loves the rides that go around in the air, and Jace even liked it.
After Dumbo we went on the big Carousel. We ended up riding it a few times in a row. There aren't as many people in the park during early entry, so we got a chance to go over and over. After the carousel we went on Pinnochio, and then headed over to the Railroad. We rode the train around the park to New Orleans Square where we got off and headed for the Golden Horseshoe and their show.
Dallon loved the Golden Horseshoe show. He was dancing until he tried to run up to the stage, then he had to stay in his seat. After the show he saw some of the perfomers and ran right up to them and showed them some of his moves.
We went over and revisited Woody's Halloween Round-up. They had a petting zoo, and Jace got right up close and personal with the goats and sheep. The little show was cute, but Dallon didn't want to sit still for it, so we wandered over to the animals. We also got to ride on the Mark Twain Riverboat. It was the first time that I've had a chance to ride it!
Later we ran into Buzz Lightyear who was more than happy to pose with Dallon. Dallon seemed to think that the characters actually knew him. He would walk up all smiley and act like they had been friends forever. We went on Buzz Lightyear's ride about a half dozen times. Each time we left the ride, Dallon wanted a toy in the store at the exit. The last time we went through, I finally caved and bought him a set of Toy Story toys. He was content and we decided it was time to eat.
